Do spaces count as characters?
It depends on who's asking. That's why we show both counts: "with spaces" (the standard in Word and on social media) and "without spaces".
How many characters fit in a post on X (Twitter)?

What's the ideal length for a title and meta description on Google?
About 60 characters for the title and 155 for the description, so they don't get cut off in search results.
How do I count characters in Word or Google Docs?
In Word, click the word count in the status bar. In Docs, go to Tools > Word count (Ctrl+Shift+C). Here, just paste your text.
